That would not be an Access database. That would be a Visual Basic (VB) program.
And VB 5 is *very* old. You might find a VB 6 book still around at your local bookstore. However, as VB.NET has been the current
version of VB for over a year now, most of the books around will be for that version.
FYI, that data (tables) portion of an Access mdb file is a Jet database. This is what all of the versions of VB have been able to
use as long as I can remember. (VB 3)
VB can not work directly with the forms or reports in an mdb file. That's what Access is for.
