ACCESS will not start

Have machine with XP and have just loaded (genuine)
Office 97 as I need this for work.

It will not start,stating that I do not have a licence
for ACCESS on the machine - is there a known problem with
XPand Access 97 ?

It's wider than that: it's an error that often arises with A97, having
to do with (of all things) a font file.
