Most of my potential users do not have Access on their
machines. Is there any way to make a fully-functional
database available via our intranet to my end users? I am
aware of a "MS Snap Shot Viewer", however, this does not
provide the functionality that I need.

Thanks much!

The best approach in your case would be to use Terminal Services.

This would allow you users. Remote, at home, on the road etc. To run, and
use your application, but they would not have to even install it.

The only thing required on the client computers is a connection to the
internet (that can be anywhere in the world.

You can even make the whole thing run inside of a web browser if you wish.

The real beauty of doing this means that you don't have to re-write your
access application at all, and it can be used over the web anywhere in the
world..

For info on using ms-access in a low bandwidth setup...check out:

And, for some info on Terminal Services...check out:

And, the TS home page can be found at:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/server/evaluation/business/termsrv.asp

Note that win2000 server has TS built in, and if you activate it then you
can get two free remote users (you simply use TS in remote admin mode....it
only takes a few minutes to set this up..but it will requite a server
re-boot).
