Jeff Conrad just answered this question on April 3rd. The topic is "Where
to look for resources" and the original poster was "dvonj"

Go take a look at Jeff's response.

oops. Sorry that was a more specific post. I have seen a recent answer to
your question though. I'll go search and post back some links.

I'll argue with that <grin>

While it's true that there is great training available (including this
forum) on the Internet, and there is also tons of sample code (see the
Access websites in my signature line for some), there are tons more
examples
and techniques in books. I probably spend $1K to $1.5K a year on
books. If
you're stumped or pressed for time, and want good Ken Getz code,
you'll need
to buy his books (I have every one he's written for Access, VB, and
VBA)

Even Ken's books don't have everything you need to know as a
professional.
That's why I buy books from most of the major Access and VB authors. A
broad
spectrum of knowledge sources will help keep you on top of your
profession.

Please note: Some of the Tutorial links are out of date on the current
page. I went through the whole Tutorial area last Friday and removed
the old ones, revised a few, and added some additional ones. Lynn
will be uploading the changes in the next few days. So check back as
well in a few days for a more up-to-date list.
