G Guest Mar 16, 2007 #1 I am new to embedded xp. What would be the best approach to accessing temp data on the smbus?
K KM Mar 16, 2007 #2 Kerry, Unless you already have a driver that can do it (test it on XP Pro first), you can access some hardware ports using libraries that allow you to do that from application mode. Here is a list of such I mentioned a while ago: http://groups.google.com/group/micr...d/browse_thread/thread/b270230b12ff240a?hl=en there have been lots of smbus related discussion in this NG: http://groups.google.com/group/micr...owsxp.embedded&q=smbus&qt_g=Search+this+group
