During installation of software, the installation screen occupies the whole
desktop. There is no way to click "Show Desktop". I need Show Desktop to
retrieve software code which was stored in one of my txt files. Clicking
Tab did not minimize the installation screen. Help would be appreciated.

If you have the Quick Launch toolbar on the Taskbar, click the Windows Key,
which will pop up the start menu and Taskbar. You can then click on the
Desktop shortcut on the QL bar.

If the other method described will not work for you, why can't you go to the txt file and either print out the code or write it down on a piece of paper. That way you will have it available during installation and can type it in...or you might even try using the mouse, copying from the .txt file and then pasting after starting the installation...though not sure if the mouse can retain it. Regards

I know about QL. The whole bottom bar including taskbar are totally under
installation screen. Satoshi..

Even when you press the Winkey? I have yet to see an installation program
that will not show the start menu and taskbar when this key is pressed.
