Access to secure pages

I have been trying to access my Morgan Stanley/Client
Serve file with this computer and I get the "can't access"
page. This also occurs when I try to update stocks with
Quicken. I get a date and time error when I try to access
Microsoft Updates.(referred to as 0x800C00008 error) This
has all occurred since I had the serial keyboard port fail
and went to a USB keyboard. I also have a laptop that I
can access all the above pages.I have a Zonealarm firewall
and Norton Symantic virus software installed.

Any ideas on what the glitch is? I have access to E Mail
and internet pages that are public domain.
