Hi,

I want to create a user ID on my windows 2000 DC, with following rights.

-he should be abe to install printer.
-he should be able to change tcp/ip Settings(ip Config)
-nothing else( should not be able to install/reinstall software/applciation)

my client OS is windowsXP with SP2.

I'm trying to do it using GPO but not success.

thanks & Regards,

You can't for Windows 2000. Only administrators can change tcp/ip
configuration. Windows XP/2003 has the network configuration operators group
to allow non administrators to do such. -- Steve
