For the last 36 hrs I cant get in to my mailbox -hotmail.I cleared
cookies/internet files and all that but no luck.I tried other email accounts
in my PC they are accessiable and I tried to login to my mailbox through
another PC couldnt get in.I tried to send an error msg to microsoft saying
the server is down but its been more than 24 hrs.Anybody has a clue whats
going on, Im going mad here.

Well, in a sense, I'm glad to say I'm not the only one with hotmail access
problems. Hope someone helps! In addition to what Sema tried, I tried a
System Restore to a date that I know hotmail could be accessed; didn't help.
I also did a total scan for viruses/worms on my PC with my completely
up-to-date virus program, and nothing was reported. During the connecting
process, the taskbar reads, "connecting to 65.54.183.192." Then I get the
following white-screen error message; I do what that says, but it doesn't
help either:

"Page cannot be found. The page you are looking for might have been removed,
had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Please try the following:

Open the by23fd.bay23.hotmail.msn.com home page, and then look for links to
the information you want. Click the Back button to try another link. Problem:
Connection timed out"

Thanks for any help, ideas, or suggestions!

You arnt alone.....I have been monitoring quite a few
newsgroups and there are MANY people who cant get into
hotmail. Strange though...I even went to the extent of
opening a new account to see if it would
open....and...dont ask me why....it opens with no
problems. Just have to wait and see if msn notices the
problem

Thanks for the update! Along the lines of what you're saying, I did get onto
a friend's computer and had the same result--couldn't get into my hotmail
account. So that way I've isolated the problem as not being with my
computer. But I have a second hotmail account, and that one was no problem.
My primary one I'm really missing though...hopefully, as you said, Microsoft
will see there's a problem.

Thanks again.
