Major problem!
2 physical hard drives in the system.
The first drive is used for the os, W2K Pro
The second drive is for data, broken in to 2 partitions.
One partition is fat32 and the second is ntfs.
On the ntfs partition, there is user access restriction.

Decided to wipe the c drive and installed win xp pro.
Now I'm locked out of the drive with nfts partition.
It does show up as a drive under my computer.
If I property the drive, Type: local drive, File System:
RAW. And for usage/free space, both got 0 bytes.

Major problem!...

However, if I use the disk management tool, it does show
the partition as healthty, and ntfs format.

When I click on the drive, the error message is
"F:\ is not accessible. Access is denied"
How can I get fix this????

Thanks.

Hello David,
Take ownership of the drive.
You can do that we you are logged onto the machine as local admin.
If you do not have the everyone group full control you can add that also.
