I work a lot with pass-through queries, and is very difficult to write sql
code in this editor, really hard to make the sql code readable, TAB is not
working. Please don't tell me to use spaces instead of the TAB. Plase take a
one minute look to another very good editor a try to implement something like
in this program (ASE SQL Editor). or at leat to be able to edit SQL like
Visual Basic Code.

Amen. And not just for Pass Throughs, but all queries.

Actually, this has been on the wish list as long as there
has been a wish list.

Dear Cesar:

Not only this, but once you have written your query nicely formatted, it
will destroy that nice formatting.

Instead, use WordPad, or any other editor you choose. Keep your query files
as text in separate files. When you finish changing one, or want to test
it, copy and past the text into the SQL View and run it there. You may
still want to make small changes there as you debug, as long as you can
remember those changes and make them in the "nice" copy.

This is horrible, and is difficult to excuse. But it's the way things are.

Personally, I do almost all my query work using MSDE and the SQL Server
tools. No such problem there.
