Access Source Safe

Yes, Source Safe. It works with Access, but you have to have the Office
Developers Edition (or whatever they are calling it this version). That
allows Access to communicate with Source Safe. I've implemented it in
Access 2, 97, and 2000, but don't know where they've hidden it in later
versions.

hi,

i've decided to look into using a product like this to provide a measure of
version control for my ms a2k development ...... i currently need to remember
to save backup copies of my mdb files which i rename with their 'version' to
differentiate them from one another. i'm assuming that ms vss would help but
the curveball about having to have an "Office Developers Edition" threw me:
does that refer to ms a2k or ms vss or what? how would i know what i had if
it referred to ms a2k? mine was loaded onto my desktop's equipped with ms
2000.
