Anyone out there know why my runtime 2003 databases setup
without any problems when I'm here at corporate but
require MS Service Pack 3 when installed over vpn by a
remote user? Any help would be great! Thanks!

I have to assume you are talking about Office 2003. SP-1 isn't even in first
Beta yet. Which SP-3 are you talking about?

Well, I use office 2003 and used the packaging wizard to
create the rutime file. The remote user does not have any
Access versions running on his machine. The error
prompted by trying to install the the runtime file from
the vpn remote location is "requires windows 2000 with
service pack 3 to install." He has Win2000 and Office
2000, and installed the service pack but it still will
not install. He keeps getting the same error. I was under
the impression that it doesn't matter what version of
office he's using. I'm not at work now but can probably
send the SP location that he downloaded tomorrow. Would
that help?
