Hello,

I need help, please. I have Access 2003 and the ADE
2003. This is the first time I've used the Access runtime
to deploy a database on other computers and I can't seem
to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I split my database
into a front and back end. All the front end contains is
a form for some basic data entry that I need to be able to
enter data from on mulitple computers. I created the
setup.exe (from package wizard)on my network for easy
access. When I run that from another computer, my form
doesn't show up. I get a blank screen
with "File", "Window", and "Help". Can someone give me
some guidance as to what I'm doing wrong? Thank you sooo
much.

Did you specify that your form should automatically be opened at startup
using the Tools - Startup menu? The Runtime doesn't allow access to the db
window so you have to provide either a form that opens at startup
automatically or provide a menu/toolbar for the user to be able to do
anything.

Hi Aaron

If you are using a custom workgroup then you should explicit point to
msaccess.exe in your shortcut

hope this will help you
