i just set up my machine so my nosy mother in law will
have her own account but i am not able to make folders
unavailable to her. I have it set up to run an admin
account for me and a guest account for her. How do I
change what she can look at on my machine and what she
cant look at? please email me with any suggestions.

Make sure the drive is NTFS, and then set permissions on the folders.

This is not a cmdprompt.admin question. At least not for your level.
Please visit <your unspecified operating system here>.general group.
When you do, learn to include the relevant information such as
Operating System and version/service pack level; the filesystem used;
whether you have looked (at least) in the Windows HELP facility or done
a single Google Search or MS KnowledgeBase search.
