I upgraded our Intranet Web Server to Windows 2003 Server SP-1 and since
that time, the users who had Advanced Author rights cannot access the
websites in FrontPage 2003 SP-2. It keeps asking for a Username, Password,
and Domain. Even if they enter the correct information, it still pops this
dialog box up to them.
I have verified the access permissions to these websites (at the NTFS level)
are correct for them to have access. They are also listed in my FrontPage
2002 Server Extensions users list with the correct access rights.
I, as Domain Admin, have no trouble opening these sites WITHOUT the
username, password, domain dialog box popping up.
Is there something in IIS 6 I need to "unlock"? I know W2K3 locks things
down out of the box.
Any advice, solution(s) would be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
