Ok I know I am comming to this party late, but I have finally given up
on Access 2003 compatibility, and have decided to target only Access
2007 and later.
In My old projects I have alwaus used the built in menue system to
provide navigation and control for my users. Al you are all aware that
is no longer an option for Access 2007 and later.
So here I am having to write a ton of more or less hand crafted XML,
and the associated VBA callbacks. It is becomming quite tedious, and
any error at all in the XML causes Access to ignore all of it, and not
render any of the custom ribbon stuff.
Is there an easier way, or am I stuck on this dam thign for another two
days? Back in the "olden days" I could have whipped up the entire menu
system in way less then an hour.
