Use the query behind the report to place a "parameter" in the field
column you want to filter. Let's say you have a report that deals with car
Models, and when you run the report you want to enter a Model, and have the
report return just those records. (filter the report... in other words)
In our example, in the [Model] column, in the Criteria, place this...
= [Enter Model]
When the report runs, you'll be asked to enter a value for [Enter Model],
you enter "Ford", and the report will be filtered for only Ford records
accordingly.
