I had to install Windows XP on a new drive due to problems
with reapir install. Now trying to access files in my
user folder from my old drive, but my old user profile is
password protected and will not grant me access when
trying to copy/open the folder when booting from my new XP
drive. Is there a way I can get to my old files to copy
them to my new drive?

Hi

This one might help:

Chris,

Have a look at the post ealier named:

"Urgent !! About Privileges"

This has quite a few good links in it about how to
recover files, which have been created by another users.

Hope this helps
