Hi All,

I have a problem with a users access permissions to folders. He has
requested access to the highest most folder (Root) but is only allowed
access to certain folders beneath this. He has received access to the Root
folder via a Group Account, this group account also accessess most of the
folders beneath the Root folder.

Question is how can i limit the user to only access certain folder beneath
the Root folder as there are a lot of restricted material which are for eyes
only.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards.

There really are only 2 ways to prevent access.

Take the user out of the Group that has access or
put the User into a group that is denied access.

Sometimes the real solution is to make another Group
or a few, so that you have the ability to easily grant
only what you wish to allow rather than putting everyone
into the same Group for permissions and then trying to
deny access to those people with too much privilege.
