ACCESS problems

I have a access program running on windows 98 and wish to
update the OS to windows 2000 and in return update to
office 2000 proffesional. my problem is that i have an
access database on the 98 machine i need to convert to
2000 when i used the convert method it did not update my
api's and i can not access the data base at all on a
office 2000 do you have any suggestions for me

Well,
if you have a machine with Acc2K, then I think I would start by trying to
convert the 97 app to 2k.
It sounds like you've tried that.
From what I understand you are saying, is this,
you have some API DLL declarations in your code and they don't work on
WIN2k, is that right?
To test this, does the 97 app run under access97 on a win2k machine??
If it does, then it isn't the API declarations...
If it doesn't, then you will need to find the Win2k replacements for the
dud declarations.
Something sounds a bit strange here tho....

maybe you didn't install all that was requiired when you installed
office2k...

are all the references in tact...?
 
What version of Access are you converting *from* ? What API calls will not
convert?
