Hi:
There are three computers in my household.

One of my family members needs to put his 'time-card' from the home.
Because his office does not allow him to do this from his field office where
he's working.

The site he needs is 'high-security' web-site to 'log-in' by using a
specific
code. However, he is NOT able to access this site even many attempts,
"except'
one computer. The other, two computers failed to open up the site.

In my recollection, before DSL failed installation, this, 'log-in' problem
NEVER
occurred. Only afterwards, the problem started.

Also, this scenerio/problem occurrring on eBay site, particularly 'Pay-Pal'
to make
financial transaction.

Wonder whether this is something related to 'Securty' or 'DSL' changed some
of configuration
although I 'removed' all of DSL installation by using Add/Remove.

Any idea on this problem would be truly appreciated.

I am not sure what you mean by failed DSL installation. When I used DSL I
had an "internet router" connected to the DSL model and then my computers
were connected to the ports on the switch that were built into the internet
router. Anyway it sounds like you may be having a problem only with secure
[https] sites if you can not access any secure website or you may have some
fragmentation of network traffic going on that can usually be fixed by
tweaking the MTU setting for the DSL connection which I did via settings for
my internet router. I believe a setting of around 1440 is a good start. If
you are unsure of how to tweak MTU you may want to refer to documentation
for your internet router if used or contact your ISP. --- Steve
