Looking to find out how many different platforms access can run on. Can it
run on Unix?

As far as I know, Access runs only on Windows, except for those other
platforms that support Windows emulation.

Not out of the box. It would require incredible man-hours to duplicate all
of the dynamic libraries, Windows API functions, ActiveX controls, et cetera,
to run it on Unix. Access has been designed to run on Windows platforms, so
in order to run Access on any other platform, one needs to use a Windows
emulator and run Access from that.
