Access on a network

I have a split, secured DB on a Novell network, used on approx 12 machines
by approx. 100 users, each with his own shortcut. Management has decided
they want it on ALL machines (75 -100) with access for everyone. The network
administrator wants to make it accessible from the Novell Application
Launcher. I am unfamiliar with any 'schema' besides the one I am using
(split between the server, clients). Can anyone shed any light on this for
me? I realize I'll probably need to find a Novell newsgroup. Thought I would
try here first.

Many thanx.

AFAIK, the Novell Application Launcher works just like
a Windows shortcut: there is a little script set up
the Novell Admin which includes all the things a Windows
Shortcut file contains.

The NAL 'shortcuts' can be deployed by the Admin, and
can probably download your application if it is missing.

You need to talk to your Admin, and give him the
information used in your windows shortcuts.

This is the way he was leaning after our initial discussion. It is also how
I was hoping it would shape up. I will research further. Thank you for the
response.
