Access network traffic...

I have a Access BE in the network server. There are up to 20 users connect
to the BE in one time. Should I install the FE to the user workstation or
have multiper copies of FE in the server location and link to the client's
machine in order to reduce the network traffic. Which method is better if
the FE is at the server location or at the user's workstation. But the user
will only connect to their OWN FE regardless the FE installed location.

If you installed the FE on each computer, then it does NOT have to travel
across the network each time a form, or some code loads.

Remember, you are working with a file share. when you load a word document
from the server, the server does not "run" word. All that the server does is
let you grab the file. (no other processing occurs on the server). This same
concept applies to ms-access also.

So, we split, and do NOT allow users in the same front end for reasons of
stability (and, you clearly got this issue right).

However, the other benefit is that having the FE on each computer thus
eliminates the traffic to send the fe to the computer.

So, sure...it makes a LOT more sense to put the FE on each computer. In
fact, while the application loads etc, often NO network traffic will occur
until some data is needed.

If the FE is on the network side..then it has to travel down the wire to
your computer.
