access ms mail server

I'm trying out Outlook 2k7. I'm currently using a standard POP3 post office
server. However, I could also (with Outlook 2K) access and older MS Mail
server. One of the users on that server is sharing a calendar that I need to
link to. Can Outlook 2K7 do this (access an older MS Mail Server? ) If so,
how?

I don't think OL 2007 can access an MS Mail server. However, this might be
