Last Friday, without warning, Access 2000, upon starting
the application without loading a database, began to
minimize itself to the taskbar, whereupon no amount of
praying, prying, pleading would get it to respond. I have
to kill it with the taskmanager. It will not maximize. I
was not loading a database at the time, just starting
Access. I have since, reinstalled MS Office and installed
the updates.......all to no avail. I have tried to search
for some sort of initilization file..but I don't know what
I am looking for. I also checked the WinXP compatibiltiy
wizard, but everything looked OK, The rest of Office works
fine, it's just access that refuses to cooperate. I have
used this version of access for over a year with XP and at
least 2 years before that with WinME and I never had any
problems. my email is (e-mail address removed) if you can help
I would be gratefull.
