Access minimising

On one of my forms I have several buttons which open up MS
Word. However when I close word, access has been
minimised. This is very frustrating. Is there any way that
I can stop it from happening?

If you use hyperlinks to open other programs this is what happens. I agree it is
silly and a pain. You can use the code at the link below to launch other files in
the appropriate application without using a hyperlink and the Access window stays up.
