I am currently experiencing an issue on a users notebook
that is very strange. Anytime the user attempts to import
an excel spreadsheet into Access, he gets the following
error:
"The wizard is unable to access information in the
file 'c:\xyz.xls'. Please check that the file exists and
is in the correct format."
The user is using a complete install of Office 2000, and
is not having any other issues. We can use the import
wizard on other databases, text files, etc, and no
problems. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled Office,
and verified that the correct file accwiz.dll is
registered. If anyone can shed light on this issue, it
would be much appreciated.
Thanks
