a friend has a hard drive that will not boot into XP and
also will not allow a repair when booting to the cd. I
decided to take his hard drive out and place it as a slave
in my computer to get all of his data. I can see the
drive and all the files, but when trying to copy all the
folders to my drive, files will copy for a short time and
then an error message pops up. "Access is Denied, make
sure the drive is not full or the file in use" neither
case is true. Both of the drives have NTFS file system.
I did find a virus on his computer called backdoor.sbot.
The file that was infected was deleted. Any help or clues
on how I can copy his data from his drive to mine. also,
I tried to do this in safe mode.
Thanks.
