Greetings.

I just had a bit of trouble with a computer and had to
reinstall Windows XP. I did so by asking Setup to repair
the FileSystem but maintain all of the settings... I
didn't want to loose the files.

Now, I can't access the files. I created an account as the
same name (Mike) and it simply made an account called
Mike_2. Any attempts to locate the Mike account on the
computer turn up nothing. Additionally, my All Users
folder is strangely named All Users.MICHAEL

Is there any way to rename the All Users folder through
the system? If so, maybe I can get at this folder to
delete it.

Is there any way to hard delete a folder. I know in
previous versions of windows, you could load to the dos
prompt and delete a folder no questions asked.

Any responses would be appreiciated.

'Till next time...

Hi,
I've just realised that I have just posted a similar message. Have you had
any off NG response to your issue, yet, or resolved the problem yourself
that you can share?
