"access is denied" to a shared CDROM

I have two computers (XP and W2K) in a Workgroup. I have
shared the cdrom on the W2K comp. and keep getting
the "access is denied" when I try to access it. I have
already successfully shared and accessed the "c" drive on
the same computer. Why can't I access the cdrom?

When you tried it, did you have a CD in the CDROM drive?
And, was the CD file-structured (digital, not music)?
