Here's my problem. I can ping the external IP of our Symantec Firewall VPN
internally (within the office). I cannot ping the external IP externally
(outside the office). Internally, I can even access the computer that I
setup to be forwarded to. I've set everything in the firewall appliance
software to allow external access (I feel this is dangerous, but I'm
troubleshooting now so...I'm crossing my fingers). My ISP says that the
firewall is causing the problem. The firewall manual I have read leads me to
believe that I've set everything up correctly.
Here are my questions:
1) Is there anyone that is familiar with the Symantec Firewall/VPN 200
appliance that might know if there is a setting I'm overlooking?
2) Does anyone have any ideas on what could be happening?
