I have a read only application that allows users to access
a report only database. Can I successfully install Access
on the Unix server and have my users get to the database?

Try it and see.

If you are just going to place the database file on the server and run it
using Access loaded on the user's PC, I would guess that you could do so.
Why don't you copy the file onto your server and try it.

No need for someone on here to do your leg work for you.

No. You can store the .mdb file on a UNIX server if it is available as
a mappable drive from Windows, but you cannot install the Access
program.

Note: Obviously you can't install the MS Access software on UNIX. It is a
Windows application. But I assume you are asking about storing the data
file only.
