Hi, I am attempting to link an excel 2003 sheet with an access 2003 database. I get the following:
The wizard is unable to access the information in file". I have tried this with sample excel sheets. I have tried it with exported sheets from access which I rename to import. All of the sheets open fine in excel. I can import a table from another access database but can't import or link from excel.
I read a thread here and looked to see if the extension was changed. None of that above seems to be the issue.
In the registry are the following:

rogram FilesMicrosoft OfficeOFFICE11msaexp30.dll as win32
C:WINDOWSSystem32msexcl40.dll as win32old.
I have two copies of msexcl40.dll when I do a search, one in system32 folder and one in ServicePackFiles\i386 folder. I have been searching all over for an answer and can't seem to find one.
I removed office and reinstalled after a repair didn't work. The wizard still doesnt' want to work its magic.
Anyone here have experience with this.
