I want to add resource scheduling to my Access project and the ActiveX
component from DBi Tech looks promising.

See http://www.dbi-tech.com/show_products.asp?id_prod=7

The examples they provide are limited to FoxPro. I am new to Access and
could benefit from a small example using this component. Are there any
Access examples available that I could review?

Best,
Christopher

Hi Christopher,

Before you buy, check with DBi Tech that their component has been tested
with Access. Many ActiveX controls that work fine with other
applications have problems when you put them on an Access form, and the
fact that the example code only refers to FoxPro suggests that the
component was designed by FoxPro people for FoxPro people.

Christopher,

I have a month scheduling module where you can select any year and any month
in that year and enter and view scheduled events for each day on the
calendar. I also have an appointments module where you can schedule
appointments in predefined time slots for any selected day. Both modules are
designed in Access. I am sure one of these or perhaps both could be adapted
to do whatever it is you want to do. Email me your email address and I will
send you a screen shot of both modules.

Good point, I'll ask them. The screen shots and features list of this
component look ideal for my Access project, but the documentation is thin,
and without any Access examples, I expect the learning curve is too steep,
especially considering they don't offer in-house support for Access.

Best,
Christopher
