We received new computers with Access 2002. We have
constant problems of not being able to open tables, delete
linked tables, and various other problems where Access
bombs and tries to do a repair and send report to
Microsoft. Any suggestions.

New computers? First thing I'd check is the OpLocks setting on the
file server.

For more information on corruption including possible causes,
determining the offending PC, retrieving your data, links, official MS
KB articles and a list of vendors who state they can fix corruption
see the Microsoft Access Corruption FAQ at

I suspect your old computers were Win 95/98 or ME while your new
computers are Win NT 4.0/2000/XP. The OpLocks problem can show
itself as soon as you start running Access from a Win NT 4.0/2000/XP
system but not cause a problem when only Win 9x systems are on the
network.
