Access Error Message

I have just downloaded my internet database files from Cute FTP to my desktop sucessfully. However, when I open the database file I get a Microsoft Access pop up with the following message 'c:\windows\desktop\pleasuregifts.mdb'

When I click "Help" it says Unrecognized database format <filename>.Error 3343

Can someone help me pleaseeee!

The file is either corrupted or is in a newer file format than the version
of Access you are trying to open it in. Try getting another copy.
