Access encouters errors

Access is shutting down the application when I try to put
a query in design view. This is a query that has worked
fine until today. I deleted it, rebuilt it, ran it and
saved it. Then I tried to use that query in a later query
and it closed the application when I try to run the
second query or put it in design view. The original query
now shuts down the application. Access sent an automated
error report. Any ideas how to stop this?

Q304084 - ACC2000: Query Crashes Access after Upgrading to Jet 4.0 SP5

although installing Win2K SP2 can also do this. Win XP with no
service packs may also have this problem.

Installing the following update should fix this.
ACC2002: Updated Version of Microsoft Jet 4.0 Available in Download
Center (Q282010)
