Access doesn't like doubles?

I've got two identical tables, one in a dataset and one in an Access 2003 DB.

One of the fields is a double. I read data into the dataset and I can see
the doubles as they should be. I update the DB and it will only read the
integral part of the double and leave 0s in place of the real decimals... but
if I manually change the field in the DB it WILL save the whole thing.

The field is formatted as a double in both tables...

could it be because of stupid windows international settings?

Hard to say without seeing the code you are using to update but it likely
should work.

International settings are not stupid. They have just to be handled properly
(assuming this is what causes the problem).
