Access Denied

I recently purchased a second HDD. Using the software
included with the HDD, I backed up my original data onto
the new drive. I then formatted the old HDD, and used my
computers recovery disk to reset the computer to its
original state.

However, I am unable to access my old "Documents and
Settings" folder on the new HDD. This folder was
password protected on my old user account. Windows
informs me that access is denied. Of course, being the
fool that I am, I had stored all my family photos, family
movies, etc within that folder and its subdirectories.

Is there anyway to bypass the access denied, or even
manually enter my old password? Please help, the files
within this folder cannot be replaced. Thanks.
