Hello,

I have 2 computers.

1 is Windows 98.
1 is Windows XP Pro.

Using Windows XP Pro I can click on 'network neighborhood' and access
shared folders on Windows 98. No login is required.

Using Windows 98 I can click on 'network neighborhood' but can't
access the shared folders on Windows XP. The message box:
---
you must supply a password to make this connection
Resource \\BANANA2\$ICS
Password
---

I don't know what the password is!

Please help!

Thanks for your time and have a great day!

The following article should help you to sort this out:
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/xp_filesharing/whole.htm

TIP: Use accounts with passwords on all systems. While this causes a mild
annoyance at logon, it makes file sharing on the network a lot more
bearable.
