I've got a hard drive from an older PC jumpered as a slave in a new machine.
When I try to access the My Docs folder on the old drive I get an "access
denied" error. I'm running XP Home. Any suggestions on how to get my files
from the old drive?

Hi Mat6,

Take Ownership of that folder. See:

Note that in Windows XP Home Edition, you need to login as Administrator from Safe mode in order to see the Security tab.
