Access Denied

My wife accidently moved a large backup file into on of
the long numbered files located on Local Hard Disk. I
cant access the file becuase it is a windows vital
program file andit wont let me modify, move, or delete
anything in the file. How can i overide this file
protection to get my back-up file? Somebody help
me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
