I have win server 2003 with two shared printers on it. I set them up and my
clients connected to the and printed. Today, the following Monday, no one is
able to print. The status of the printers on the client is this "access
denied, unable to connect" I believe it is an issue on the server. Any and
all suggestions are appreciated.

Adam, I'm am not sure yet but ours started this today as well on a server
that has been setup with printers for years. We are thinking it's a windows
update. I am going to research this. Let me know if you find out anything and
I'll do the same. Bret :)

Adam,
We have the same problem as of today on a terminal server that has been
in use for a long time. We believe it is a windows update patch. I am going
to do some research and I will let you know if I find anything. If you find
anything let me know too. Thanks, Bret :)

I think I also have the same problem if not similar. This is the situation
that I am in. We have a Print Server (Win2003) located in the Corp Domain
(Active Directory). The workstations (Win200 and XP) that I deal with are in
another Domain (WinNt). When I set up a printer, when logged into my Domain
I get the Access Denied, Unable to Connect message. When I login to the Corp
Domain, the same Domain that the Print Server is on it works fine. Why do I
get this message? What are we missing? The printers are set for Everyone,
full permissions. I sure would appreciate any help with this one. Thanks

Check the AD Domains and Trusts to see that the WinNt Domain is
trusted with the Win2003 domain.

We have similar problem, but how to fix it?

Thank in advance for any solution.

If the users can still print to the server, the issue is that the spooler
service on the SERVER cannot connect to the client machines with access
denied.

You need to give the server access to the client machines. Here is a couple
KBs on how the client could be configured to denied the server access.
Someone a while back had this problem due to a trust failure between the
Print Server domain and the client domain. Once they fixed the trust, the
server was able to updated the client spooler with the queue information
