The DC's were recently upgraded to Windows 2003. I am part
of a group called DNS Administrators. I can no longer
make changes in my zones, like add A records, Modify or
Delete records. The Windows Admin here found something
where she had to go to each zone record and make some kind
of change so I could do my changes. I am having trouble
with a couple of zones now but in truth, did not really
understand what she did to fix it and she's not here
today. If I could explain to one of the other Windows
gurus here, I'm sure they'd know what I'm talking about, I
just don't know what I'm talking about. I use an MMC on
another server, a W2K box, and administer all the dns
servers from there. Can anyone explain what I am
experiencing here ??
Thanks.

Did she go to each zone A record or to each zone? I would assume she went
into the zone's properties (provided it's AD Integrated) and give you the
permissions. Is the zone is replicated from a different domain? That would
change things as well.
