I've been locked out of my Lotus Notes (.nsf) mail file
after having moved it, renamed it, and then renamed the
new directory I placed it in.
The message I get when I now try to move or rename the
file is "Access is denied". I'm running Windows XP Home
and have recently installed SP2.
I have tried turning on network file sharing for the
folder to provide me with access (something that has
worked in the past), but this has not worked. I have also
reviewed some of the KB docs which suggest modifying
the "Security Tab", but there doesn't seem to be one in
the Home edition. Another doc talked about starting up in
Safe Mode, but the instructions didn't seem to get my PC
there. As far as I know I'm operating as the
administrator ... no other users assigned.
Any ideas on this would be MUCH appreciated, as I
desperately need access to my mail file.
Thanks,
Paul
