Access denied pop ups

I am having a problem. I am getting a pop up every minute that says "Access
Denied". I have spybot that has removed all the lop's from my computer. I
did download spyblaster prior to getting the "Access Denied" pop ups, but I
have since uninstalled spyblaster but I still get the "Access Denied" pop
up.

Spybot was able to remove a particularly hard to remove lop (syssoftware),
but this pop up is driving me crazy. Anyone have any ideas? (I have
windows 2000 professional and I have downloaded all the critical updates and
the service packs).

Check for a file named HOSTS with no extension (not Hosts.sam). It may be a
hidden file. Open it with Notepad and remove any line referencing the site.
Or, rename HOSTS to OLDHOSTS
