Access Denied for Folder

I downloaded a programme called lockfolder. I locked one folder then unlocked
through that programme but after that I am unable to open that folder. Every
time I click on the folder,I receive a mesage "access denied"I even
uninstalled the programme but still unable to access that folder.

I am win xp home user with sp2 and all updates and my hard disk ntfs
formatted.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Try to rename the file and make sure the program in not running in the
process than delete. If not restart and try delte or try safe mode.

Thanks but it is not a Programme. It is folder having some documents. I
tried to rename but I couldnot because of "access denied"
 
Dear Ron Rector,
I tried that as well but of no use. There is no security tab when I go the
properties of folder even in safe mode. Any oher suggestion will be highly
appreciated.
