Access Denied for Admin on a Users Profile Help.

I wonder if someone can help me out.

I was just in the process of setting up some user accounts on a Win2K svr,
DC running Active Directory.

I put the users roaming profile path in the appropriate box and this
profiles folder is created the first time the user logs on.

The problem is, when i go to access this folder it says Access is denied?

It says i dont have permissions to view or edit this folder, but it says i
can take ownership or change auditing settings. The issue with this, is that
once i do this, the user can no longer draw down their profile when they log
onto the network....

Can anyone help me with this one plz..

Thanks in advance

If you look in Group Policy under computer configuration/administrative
templates/system/logon there is an option to add administrators group to
roaming profiles permissions. There are also command line file tools such as
the free fileacl that an administrator can use to add permissions to folders
where he has no permissions nor is owner. --- Steve
